In this racist world, a cry for equality is often found at select corners of the world. Questions of colour have been a leech to humanity for a long time. Many great thinkers fought for equality. The political scenario underwent a bend when one of the powerhouses elected a coloured president. Many say he was a reincarnated soul of the great fighter of yester years, or maybe an amalgamation of all such souls who fought for equal rights. The same voice also found a musical note when great musicians tried to tell the tale of society through music. Artists from a particular colour voiced grievances and plight that was prevalent, while some artist spoke for their fellow communities to get the universal voice forward. He said the times they are a changing. The late king of pop too expressed his rage and found ears and ignited the flame of humanity. Within this cultural camouflage we live in, there have been people who have fought for equality and peace.
Let us raise a toast to them!
P.S (I had black & white yesterday, so wrote this just for kicks)
